"The Greenwich Double Tree is an excellent hotel, the rooms were clean and spacious enough for a couple, with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The staff were very friendly and service excellent, which I value highly. The hotel offered a 25% discount on the price of breakfast, which one could select on a daily basis. Breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold food on a self service basis, from a variety of traditional English to fruit, pancakes and continental. The coffee was very good. Parking was very secure behind locked gates and a rear entrance to the hotel. The parking was £25 per night which seems to be standard for London hotels in Greenwich and perhaps London hotels in general. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from central Greenwich and situated in a very quiet residential area and so has the best of both worlds for a London hotel. Public transport links are of course very good, with Greenwich having two stations. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will return in the future."
