"I was quite disappointed with my stay. The room did not match what I had originally booked, as we were given two single beds instead of the expected setup. There was also a noticeable issue with humidity and mould in the room, which made the environment uncomfortable and concerning from a health perspective. Additionally, we were only provided with one towel despite being two people, which felt careless and inconvenient. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations. I would recommend that the hotel pays more attention to room conditions and basic amenities to ensure a more comfortable stay for future guests."

"We booked to stay at The Pilot, due to its proximity to the O2, and we were not disappointed. Not only was it only about a 10 minute walk from the O2, and from the cable cars, but the place itself was absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We had an evening meal before heading out, which was delicious, and well priced (we even got a 10% discount as we were staying there). Then, in the morning, unfortunately we had to leave early to get back to catch our trains home, so we couldn't sit down and enjoy breakfast, but the gentleman who checked us out showed us where the 'help yourself' buffet was and said we could take whatever we liked with us (the croissant I took/had on the train was a welcome snack whilst travelling home!). All the staff we met at The Pilot were lovely and very welcoming. There is some parking outside the hotel, but it is very limited and on a 'first come, first served' basis. This included a couple of disabled spaces, right outside the front door. We would highly recommend the place and will definitely being staying again. 10/10"

"The room was clean, some parts of the wallpaper had started to peel, staff were really nice and welcoming, they helped wherever they could, moved us rooms as there was a strong smell of sewage coming from our bathroom, breakfast was nice"

"First of all the property owners didn’t answer messages and the phone number doesn’t work, neither the one on Hotels.com or their website. Technically Greenwich I suppose but let’s say more the Woolwich end. The outside of the property is run down and access was via a fire escape from a lane down the side of the pub. The whole property was dark and dingy (although arguably clean) and the room we were shown to was dark, stuffy, more than basic and quite frankly horrible. I took 5 minutes before we said “we are not staying here”, we left and booked a room at the Admiral Hardy which was amazing!!! I know it says a budget hotel but there is budget and there is this place. Staff were fine but honestly without a shadow of a doubt the worst “hotel” I have ever booked."
