"This hotel is amazing, a little quirky maybe but amazing. The staff are so friendly and keen to make our stay comfortable. The room was very small but that wasn’t an issue at all especially as they have a lovely terrace on the first floor. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel but there was complimentary fresh coffee along with tea and water, and I’ve always available. "Our first room had mold issues that they kindly tried to clean, but the next morning when the water was shut off in the building (due to the city) we decided to leave. After speaking with the owner by phone, he moved us to another building and a lovely, clean room. We stayed 3 more nights and it was lovely. Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good, and the beautiful surroundings were very much enjoyed. "

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. Don't plan on doing much laundry. We did enjoy the spaciousness of the apartment once we got settled. The location was quite convenient if you...

"This is a really special hotel suffering from under-investment. The staff I met—from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the bar/restaurant—were all working hard.
