"Everything was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful with excellent local recommendations. The rooms were small but functional and darn cute. Everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing with fresh artisan bread, fresh eggs, jams, yoghurt, granola. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!"

"The breakfast was really poor. Often there wasn't any bread left. The bacon was black. Looked as if it was several days old. Fruit salad bowl was empty most days and there was very little choice of jam. The orange juice was souer. We had already stayed in several very reasonably priced hotels where in each case the breakfast was good. We expected better for the price. "

"My family and I have just returned from a great 4 night stay in Nantes and in particular the Maison du Monde Apartments. The apartment we stayed in was called Marigold and had all the amenities needed for our stay. We didn't cook but did make use of the fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, the accommodation provided plenty of different teas to choose from and my particular favourite were the many coffee pods available to use in the machine provided, a great addition. The apartments are clean, modern but yet with many original features, flooring for example so they had character. The location of the apartments are what makes them stand out, being right on Place Royale. Our apartment was on the 1st floor and looked straight out over the square. It really was an excellent location, with easy access to many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. As has been noted before, the main hotel is a very easy, pedestrianised walk from the apartments. This is where you check in and drop luggage off like we did as we arrived early should you need too. Check in was simple, staff very friendly and done within minutes. Directions to the apartments offered and easy to follow. We really enjoyed Nantes, nice city, very walkable and enough to do for adults and children alike. We will definitely return and would happily stay at the apartments again, highly recommended. "
