"Very rare to find such nice accommodation, right in a city center, and so quiet and modern. This is an excellent property, at a reasonable price, in a good location, in a pretty great town"

"A different stay to a standard hotel and this should be understood before booking that this is someone’s ancestral home as well as a hotel. Which means it has its own little quirks. However we really liked it and it was in a superb location. "

"Good stay really enjoyed it. The only downside was the long waits at breakfast ordered two coffees and orange juices had to wait about 25 mins before they arrived. The young girl taking orders and serving was very busy it wasn’t her fault perhaps needed more staff "

"I liked that the apt was clean, well located and easy to access. I didn’t like that my room faced some kind of business where people appeared to be working all night, moving heavy things on the street, and talking very loudly. The apt windows are not very soundproof and two nights in a row I had trouble sleeping. "

"Lovely hotel. Choice of restaurants. Room staff very accommodating. Great menu and service in the bistro bar but food a bit hit and miss in the evenings at the pool bar."

"Breakfast was good but limited. The parking was off property, about a two block walk not bad. But as info to others, charges are per day , not a sliding 24 hours. Each night was appx 18 euro or 2 days fee when we went out once a day to tour.
The property was beautiful and very well kept. My husband and I are older , the bed platforms are lower than most , so made it a little harder but not too bad. "
"This small hotel is an absolute gem! From the minute I walked in I could tell this was going to be a special place. We were made so welcome by Virginia when we checked in, she was so warm and charming just like the hotel. It felt cosy and instantly homely with tasteful decorations in the reception area and in our room. We had one of the rooms on the top floor which opened onto the gorgeous roof terrace decorated beautifully with lots of plants and pots and lights in the evening. Very spacious room which was immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace with views of the cathedral and was incredible! Fresh fruit, yoghurt, ham, eggs, tomatoes, avocado, toast, cereals, muesli, extra toppings such as dried fruit and seeds, cakes, jams, pate, cheese, tea, coffee and probably some things I've missed! Outstanding. We absolutely loved our stay."
"I wasn't given the correct code to enter, so if a cleaning lady hadn't been there, I wouldn't have been able to get in. My room was visibly dirty, and the main light didn't work, so the room was quite dim. I was glad I was only staying here one night."
"It was a one night stay prior to moving on. It was very late when we arrived as our train was delayed. We entered the building with the code - when we reached the room the code did not work. However we rang the help number , it was answered immediately & given an upgrade to a lovely suite. Everything was fine."
