"There were not enough towels. Carpet is soiled. The bathroom light didn't work. We got a refund and moved on."

"Decent if you just need somewhere quick to lay your head. There were roaches, but the bed was clean, so that was good. There is an odor. There was sus activity going on outside. It got noisy outside the room Thursday night. As I was checking out Friday morning, there were 3 police SUVs parked out front."

"My stay at the Red Roof Inn in Memphis was terrible. The room was horrible—everything was in poor condition: the bathroom, the carpet, the bathroom door—it was all dirty. The room smelled bad and felt damp. There were many people loitering in the hallways; one day, as I was leaving at 5:00 a.m., a Black man wearing a hoodie walked past me, stopped at the next door, and stood against the wall—as if waiting to do something to me. I quickly got into my car. It was a bad experience; I wouldn’t...

"Would you like to overpay for a smelly room? The Shelby Inn has you covered. The room was somehow both damp smelling and smoky. Do you like dirty towels? The Shelby Inn is the place to find them ! Avoid this hotel, it’s a gross place to spend the night"

"It was horrible, I reserved it a day early and I will never go back. Door was like it didn't want to close. I made it in at almost 2 am, dozed off and my husband woke up at 4 to use the bathroom and the bathroom had roaches everywhere!!!!!!! Checked out early And will never return ."

"They don't have housekeeping"

"The TV is not functioning, there is no microwave, the floor is so dirty and the pillows too thin and small, no fridge, not well lighted hallway."

"This is a 5 Star hotel! Great location, huge room, secure, covered parking. located a couple blocks from downtown, this hotel is perfect. Clean, safe, staff communication amazing. our 2nd time staying here in 2 years. next time in Memphis, we will stay again. thank you @the stallion!"

"The property and surrounding area were well maintained and well lit. The room was great and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thus is our third year to stay and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else."

"Great location! Only took a few minutes to walk to Beale Street and there was so much else in the immediate area to explore. The staff were all very friendly and helpful--seamless check-in and check-out. My room was far more spacious than I expected and very clean. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast as well. I would absolutely stay again."
