I liked that the there were no dog fees and staff was kind. I disliked the surrounding area due to criminal activities… however to counter that, there was a cop parked all night in the hotel parking. While checking out, there was an abandoned car and three patrol units investigating in the middle of the street. The area is criminally active, but I did not feel unsafe, but still something huge to note if you have kids.

Clean rooms. Arrive early for breakfast or else.

Room was very clean. The ceiling was pealing. The frond desk told us breakfast was till 10. When arriving at 9:15 the eggs were cold, the sausage wasn’t cooked through and we were told we should have arrived earlier.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was attentive enough. Even though native Memphians say this area is bad but I did not have any issues. The only thing that was a negative for me is that this was a prepaid stay with all fees included but when I got there there was an additional $100 deposit fee. So be sure to budget this into your visit. Overall great stay and the mini cinnamon rolls made my day.

The stay was ok.

The air wasn’t on when we got there and the room smelled pretty bad. Circulating air helped. Some of the furniture was ripped, scratched, and dusty. The smoke alarm was covered in plastic. The room was clean though. The bed was comfortable. There was not always hot water. We felt safe there. Staff was kind. We would consider staying again, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

My first room had a broken heater , the staff was helpful and transferred me right away to another room . The second room had a broken toilet that was dripping and flushing all by itself . Again the staff was helpful , apologized and transferred me to another room . This room had its better day years ago . Dented light shade , scratched well worn table and TV bureau . The chair for the desk was DEPLORABLE and DISGUSTING and the shower had a broken temp regulator . The scrambled eggs were funny tasting , hard to explain . I'm on a road trip to California and my first 3 hotels were all good to great . I had nothing negative to say just good things. I'm sharing this so you don't think I'm just a complainer . If you are looking for a nice hotel to stay at , this isn't it !!!! I would not stay here again

It was only one night, but I’m happy the check in was fast and simple. The rooms were spacious and clean for the most part, but we did have hair left in the tub. The views aren’t scenic and there’s no pool, but for a couple days it’s good and the staff is really nice.
