"Facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in November so it was low season and there was nobody else around to be seen. Bedspread had a large rip. Bed was, however, comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. "

Seul bémol, merci de mettre un panneau sur le protail de la rue du bas pour indiquer l'entrée du hauut, la bonne ! "The turret room was exceptional. We felt like medieval royalty. Olivier and his staff were so welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast in front of the fire and were given a personal tour of the old aquarium cave and the new sauna and spa rooms. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip to France. The only thing missing was some sunshine."

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

"The cave room at the chateau is fantastic. Besides a couple of spiderwebs and some steep steps, it is truly a find in the Loire valley. Excellent space, oasis of rest, great sauna, even better hot tub!"
