The 1784 building is beautifully designed and restored. Attention to detail, love and grace abound. " I’ll start with the room:  No cushions on the chairs outside. It was a lovely day, but there weren’t any comfortable chairs to sit on outside. No blankets or extra pillows. No floor lamps (I couldn’t see to read in the bedroom while sitting in the tiny chairs by the window). One piece of tissue left in the dispenser.  No washcloths. Hair conditioner in the shower but not the bathtub. No toiletries to speak of (just some unsanitary cotton pads and Q-tips in a jar) and a small bottle of...

"My dog was warmly welcomed and the staff was super helpful with suggestions on what to do in this gem of a town. I have never seen such a clean town. Not a paper on the ground. The hotel is extremely well located on a quiet side street. Will definitely go back. "
