"It’s snowing when we’re here. The view from the room was picture perfect - snow-covered mountain, trees, and stream bank. The hotel is super clean and comfortable. All amenities are available. The room is spacious for two. The private onsen is good. The late night ramen was very good. The Japanese breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The shuttle service between the hotel and Shirakawago bus station is available and convenient. We would love to stay again."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff was very kind and welcoming to us. Very hospitable. You must change into indoor slippers provided by the inn. Upon checking in, I noticed one of the elderly staff cleaning my luggage wheels which I thought was very nice of him to do so as I’ve been to a different inn in Japan where visitors were told to clean their luggage wheels themselves. I would’ve been more than happy to clean them myself but truly...

"Traditional Japanese Ryokan. Staff has been very welcoming and kind to our kids and us. Food has been a positive traditional experience. Special meals for our kids has been provided without asking. The outdoor onsen and sauna area has been great. Free shuttle transfer to the nearest stations including luggage support. The room itself is a bit dated but we enjoyed our overnight stay. "

"Not a real hot spring , water temperature is warm but not hot. Dirty bedsheet, blood dirt . Very old decoration. Very remote location. I did appreciate staffs were helpful even though they could not communicate with us in English."

"Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the manager Bill who made us feel welcome. He showed us and told us the things we needed to know. Though the apartment isn't big, it was quite complete and looked very new and nice. The bedroom had 2 double beds that were a little too small for 2 adults. Also a readinglight would have been nice, but we noticed that that isn't common in Japan. But there was enough closet space, which we liked. The location was good. There was a nice shopping center on walking...

"It was a pleasant stay and location is great. Is about 560m away from Kanazawa station .We are able to drop off our luggage at Kanazawa hotel before our check in time . Is a plus as this hotel is unmanned. Smooth Check in with password given. Comfortable bed and family friendly. "

" we were not happy about this choice...have regretted that i should have got mitsui garden hotel instead. first of all, we could not find the place though we drove around the area for more than 40 minutes. to make the matter worse, friend's new lexas got stuck and could not get out the narrow street. took at least stressful 30 minutes. we gave up and asked a barber shop. i had to run around another 30 minutes and finally found the place, but nobody was inside...only the number for emergency...i...
