"First, the elevator does not work. My wife is recovering from a severely broken ankle, and I just had major spinal fusion 6 weeks ago. We had to carry our luggage up to the third floor while using canes. No offer to help from staff. Hotel advertises a spa. There is none. Hallway floors lok like they have not been swepped in months. Even found a sock in a corner of a stairwell. Bathroom room had 3 bottles of hand and body wash, a bottle of hair rinse, but NO shampoo. One of 2 cardboard room keys...

"This Red Lion is conventient and inexensive. I stay there frequently when I'm working in the area. Having said this, there are some minor issues almost every time I stay. "This hotel was in the perfect location across the street from the gateway arch and a few blocks from Busch stadium. The parking garage and hotel were secure. The hotel staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were a plus as well as complimentary cocktails. The hotel pool was nice and we enjoyed the sunset from the outdoor patio and arch view."

We stayed two nights and asked cleaning staff to just replace towels and washcloths, they acknowledged what we wanted, but didn't action. We understand the low cost equates to less options, but the basic options, like breakfast and clean towels are expected."
