"Great clean, well kept hotel near the beach. Rooms have spacious bedroom, comfortable bed and living room with kitchenette. Living room sofa is a sleeper sofa if needed. Kitchenette with table and chairs, has microwave and fridge and dishes and cutlery. Bathroom is updated, great strong shower. Lobby has great free automatic coffee machine and filtered water station. Staff is friendly, place is clean in great location. Many grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Really enjoyed our stay. "

Highly recommend the daily breakfast, which is a wonderful spread of juices, cheeses, freshly baked breads and rolls, all kinds of fresh fruit, salmon, omelets and other egg dishes, coffee, tea, you name it. The daily Happy Hour is also an unexpected treat with various wines, a daily delicious soup, assortments of various nuts, etc. It’s located very close to the beach and also within walking distance of numerous shopping options. "By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Neither Expedia nor the hotel disclosed at booking, or prior to arrival, that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation. This constitutes a booking taken in bad faith, as the hotel clearly knew and Expedia should reasonably have known the property was not operating normally. The impact included: • Central heating failure for the entire stay (January). A portable heater was inadequate. Extra bedding was repeatedly requested but never...

"Everything about Maxim Hotel was excellent: the beach location, kind staff, delicious breakfasts, and clean rooms. I'm not an easy-to-please person, but that was my third stay there in a year, and I'm sure it won't be the last."

"just disgusting and totally disappointed attached how "clean" the "deluxe" double room is. make your own opinion! - no hairdryer as described in the details available to the stuff: may you educate/train your house keeping. its an absolute NO GO entering the room without knocking on the door. i would complain all the things at the check out, but you have not asked how my stay was(may you train yourself as well in getting basics for the hotel environment). the worse stay i ever had....
