"We wanted a hotel in the heart of the Florence historic area, and this was perfect. It was a ten minute walk to anything you would want to see. There are plenty of dining options in the area. The staff was very helpful and spoke exellent English. The breakfast was exellent. If your plan is to visit historic Florence this is the place to stay"

"Gorgeous room and unique place to stay. Lovely breakfast served by the welcoming staff and nothing is too much trouble. Only downside was we found it very noisy and not at all sound proofed. If you are a light sleeper take you ear plugs as Florence never stops! "

"The ancient building was retrofitted with all the modern elements without compromising its architectural features. The staff was friendly, helpful in suggesting restaurants and making sure we had everything we needed. As a bonus each morning there would be a box delivered to our door with sweet pastries and savory sandwiches from a local bakery! "Dark, minimal lighting, depressing. Arived after 4 p.m. Sent code to get in front door and apartment. Card on table for room 4 didn't work. Another guest tried it to. Called then found keys in office as instructed to open room 4 door. Lights wouldnt work as no card. Told on phone to take hidden key to a cupboard in office and use the master card in my room for my lights which worked. THIS NEANT I COULD HAVE ACCESSED EVERYONE'S ROOM. SHOCKING BREACH OF PRIVACY AND SECURITY. Took over an hour...

"We loved how much breathing room we had in our suite! Having coffee and tea right in the room was such a nice touch, and the modern rainfall shower felt like a total luxury. The team here is wonderful—they even looked after our bags after we checked out so we didn't have to lug them around"
