"The establishment itself was very southern style which I liked and most importantly very convenient to my family location overall it was worth the money this place is definitely on my list of returning especially if they upgrade just a little bit in the rooms as far as appliances but it still was worth it."

"Clean, updated furniture and decorations. Friendly staff."

"The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. I was able to get the room to the right temperature for me. The staff was helpful, and I was able to get the first floor as requested. It was also quiet during the night."

"a decent 2-star hotel with exorbitant price. I never realized I booked a 2 star hotel from orbitz, based on the price. Location is right off the highway, which is convenient but a poorly maintained locality with a kind of stench all around. Hotel seems old construction, with stench of smoking in the hallway you cannot ignore. Rooms was decently clean with no stench inside, however the bathroom vent spits out back into the bathroom itself making it not usable immediately. There is a tesla level-2...

"Clean and large room. Front desk gentleman was extremely kind both times that I locked myself out of my room"

"The staff was wonderful,an freindly, but unfortunately that was the only good thing, the room was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable (king),the sink faucet only had cold water an when you took out broken stopper it was full of hair ,dirt, slimming stuff, the shower was good ,no were to sit except one plastic outside chair, the TV was a joke, you could crank it an still could not hear it,you had to be on top of it pretty much ,so I went to Walmart an bought a 32 inch for $69 an problem was solved...

"After checking in and seeing the room, I immediately walked out, back to the front desk and turned in my key, asking for a refund. The room was dingy, dirty, and disgusting and full of bugs and spiders. It was the worst hotel room I’ve ever seen. This place should be removed from Expedia’s offering. We went across to the hotel next door and checked in there. By daylight this place looked even worse with some parts seeming to be falling down while under construction. Don’t stay here !"

"Staff was great"

"Mt. Vernon has been around for decades and it is not in the best condition these days. The price was helpful as I was in a crunch cash wise."
