"It was walking distance to a nice coffee shop. It’s minutes away from a lot of nice restaurants and fun entertainment for a perfect date night."

"The room was very nice and clean but you have to have a room key to access the elevators which is disappointing. We went down to breakfast at 8am, having left our belongings in the room to go back up to the maid cleaning our room for us to leave. We had to grab our stuff and rush out, hoping we didn’t forget anything. When we had arrived, the worker told us we could access all amenities even after checkout which isn’t true since you can’t use the elevator without the key. The pictures showed a balcony view of the store but we had the roof of the restaurant as our view so we saw nothing cool. It was incredibly disappointing. Absolutely DO NOT eat at the restaurants here unless you are a vegan yankee. The food is not for us people from the south. All wheat crap, no flavor, beyond expensive and genuinely ~ awful. We spent $200 at the rooftop restaurant for some of the worst food ever. Whalburgers for breakfast was the nastiest, healthiest tasting food ever. I don’t mind healthy alternatives but I don’t want my food to taste like grass. The room itself was super nice. The fireplace is a fake fireplace and does not heat up AT ALL. The air in our room didn’t work at all. The fire pits outside didn’t work. The beds were comfy and the bathroom is nice. Otherwise, there’s no way it was worth $350 a night. I was thoroughly disappointed. "

"The staff are very nice, breakfast was served and there parking. Entering to the front desk smell great and clean. Going to the room was okay but once we enter the room the sofa were dirty. You could see the stain more because the color was a lighter. It had a kitchen and the washroom and bathroom were clean. We didn't stay anything because we were so disappointed and disgusted. We went another hotel which was the double price."

"There was a few items required in our room, which were brought up promptly. Valet parking was excellent. Breakfast buffet was great and very good customer service."

"Everything about this place is fabulous. Staff are outstanding, location is marvelous, nearby restaurants/shops are outstanding! The welcoming glass of champagne upon arrival was deeply appreciated. I cannot wait to visit the River Inn soon! Thank you all for a wonderful stay."

"I booked my room for Tuesday through Saturday. When I got to the hotel I had to call out for help because no one was at the desk and there was no bell. I had to show the clerk my reservation email because she didn't have record of my booking. The hotel advertises an indoor pool (which was closed for repair) and breakfast each morning (which wasn't served). After checking in I headed up to my room. The stairwell and hallway floors were disgusting. Trash everywhere and it didn't look like the carpets had been cleaned in a while. When I got to my room I only had two pillows, two towels and no toilet paper. I went back down to the desk and the clerk gave me additional items and toilet paper. After my first night I went out to sightsee. When I returned to the hotel my key card didn't work so I went to the front desk where I was told that I should have checked out that morning. Again I showed my booking confirmation and the issue was corrected. I got up to my room and my belongings were thankfully still in the room. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean my room or replace linens once. I had to swap out dirty towels with the front desk. The only saving grace about my stay was the cost of the booking and the helpful front desk staff I dealt with."
