"We recently stayed at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and had an overall positive experience, especially considering the main purpose of our trip was attending a concert. Our room, located in the Opal Tower on the 16th floor, was clean and comfortable. The beds were especially good—we slept very well each night. The hotel itself is quite large, so be prepared to do a fair amount of walking. For us, that was actually a plus. One standout for us was Funny Library Coffee Shop. They serve great coffee and matcha, which was important for us to start the day right. That said, I do wish there were more breakfast options available within the hotel. There may be more choices in other buildings, but we didn’t explore enough to confirm. The pool area was well-maintained, with clean water and fresh towels. The poolside restaurant was a convenient spot for snacks, lunch, and drinks, and we enjoyed spending time there. Since we were there for a concert, staying at this hotel worked out perfectly. We purchased fast passes through the hotel’s website, which allowed us to get very close to the front. However, even with the fast pass, we still waited about two hours in line, so arriving early is essential if you want a good spot. One downside is the location—it’s off the Strip, so you’ll need to rely on Uber or rent a car to get around. Personally, I prefer staying closer to the Strip, but in this case, being near the concert venue was more important for my daughter."

"Had problems checking in to begin with. The first room had no cold water in the bathtub, only scalding hot water. There was a tile or grout missing in front of the shower with what looked like mold grown out of it, and the sheets were really itchy. They gave us a new room and at least the bathtub had some cold water, but the sheets were still like sleeping in fiberglass. Peeling wallpaper and paint on the door peeling off, loose doorknob on the bathroom door just shows that they don't maintain the hotel rooms, only the casino. Vegas smells like Marijuana everywhere, and apparently the Paris let's people smoke it in the parking garage, casino and even the room hallways. My eyes were itching and burning just from the secondhand smoke. So we left two days early, even though we had paid in advance and knew that we wouldn't get a refund. We just couldn't take those itchy sheets another night. We've been to Las Vegas probably 10 times, but this was the worst experience there we've ever had. We were so disappointed. The desk staff was nice, but calling for support was horrible. We tried to let them know we were leaving early, but I think their phone system sent us to someone overseas who kept taking over us before we explain that all we wanted to do was let them know we were checking out early. It was so frustrating. We finally disconnected and called the hotel directly again and asked for the front desk and he was helpful in showing us checking out."
