"Our junior suite was a great room, with lots of space. Unfortunately it was infested with flying ants on the walls. There was also an animal living in the ceiling, and black fecese continually fell onto our bed. They did not have any of the same room types for us to switch into, so we stuck it out for the night. "Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a perfect launching point for a Costa Rican vacation and the pool area and restaurant are terrific. For in and great food and drink choices and options and very fair pricing. The property is extremely clean and the rooms are spotless with modern updates."

"Angie, in reception, was extremely helpful and friendly. We needed to change rooms and she was very understanding and helped us quickly. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and good. We enjoyed being able to walk out on the beach. One morning we went into the water very early, prior to breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grounds. The one negative was the first night when a local establishment blasted techno music until 3am."

"The main benefit of this hotel was its location. It's conveniently located only within 30 min drive from the airport, also just in between 2 main attractions - beaches and volcano. Should also mention that complimentary breakfast was spot on, and of course we daily enjoyed the pool. So overall great experience although the hotel is way outdated and needs a lot of renovations."
