"Beautiful property, staff was always helpful. Food was excellent."

"clean room, nice complementary breakfast"

"The building & room & staff are really special! I grumble because our shower / bath and the breakfast quality was not great. Also not a fault of the hotel specifically but the location proved really challenging with mosquitos - I was bitten badly at the hotel - so a general warning! But the place was lovely!"

"My favourite thing was the shower, such a great size in comparison to some of the standard sizes in Italian accommodation. If you’re happy to have a 20 minute walk to the main tourist area this is perfect, amazing boutique shops nearby but the property was so clean and the room size was perfect. There was an issue with the access keypad but the owner arrived so quick to help and the communication for the property in general was seem-less. I would definitely book again for any future trips."

"We enjoyed our stay here; it's out of the main tourist center of Florence in the Oltrarno, and it's within a half-mile of the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, and all the tourist sites are within walking distance (25 minutes). There's no front desk here, but instructions were good enough to get into the hotel and our rooms (still, you have to be comfortable with that). A good value for Florence overall."

"The room was clean and it felt secure. Well situated for transit options. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"We found it hard to find. It’s under the arches by the market. You must look for the sign reading Il Mercato B and B"
