"​I wanted to love this property, but unfortunately, the reality did not match the 4-star rating or the usual Marriott standards. To be blunt, this felt much more like a motel than a premium hotel. ​While the beds were actually quite comfortable and provided a good night's sleep, the functional issues in the room were impossible to ignore. Multiple power outlets in our room simply did not work, making it a struggle to charge devices. Even more concerning, the property lost running water at various points during our stay. ​I am honestly surprised this is a Marriott-affiliated property, as it just isn't up to the usual brand standard. If you are looking for a true 4-star experience, you may want to look elsewhere. Don't go there expecting a high-end stay—it’s closer to a 2.5-star motel experience at best"

"Hotel was great loved the restaurant and bar area. Pool was fun and happening with the DJ playing. Drinks were yummy. Loved the location of the hotel and the valet was awesome. Would definitely recommend."

"Janessa at the front desk has a talent for proper and thorough customer service. Give her a raise! We had a comfortable stay and room was clean. Parking fee is silly at $50/day (we parked elsewhere). No valet or anything so what is the charge for? We didn’t eat breakfast there as it wasn’t included in our stay but was $24 if not included. I would stay again because it was clean and very convenient walking to Old Town. Pool water was clear and area clean. 👍 "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Scottsdale Camelback Resort. I found this listing through Expedia. It is tailored for a more mature audience, but I appreciated that. The Villa was neat and clean. The property has all sorts of amenities. It's located in an excellent location for walking to nearby shops, restaurants, etc. I felt safe traveling solo as the property is contained. The check-in process was very easy and I completed it online. The staff helped me to get in an hour early and I enjoyed the property while I waited. I would like to recognize the following staff members for their outstanding service - Brooke my esthetician who did my facial at the spa, Melissa the bartender at Splash, Naomi working the front desk at night, and Maria the water yoga instructor. They all made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. Thank you all for making my trip to AZ extra special!"
