"The property is gorgeous, historical and old timey feel but also incredibly elegant and cool. We loved our stay and were greeted by kindness and calm which is all we can ask during a stay. My only complaint is that all the bars were listed to be open until 1 am or late and that was just not the case the night we went. We were quite disappointed as that was major part of our booking but the people at the front were kind to give us some recommendations on what to do next."

"This was our first time at this hotel. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The location was superb. It is close to Washington square park and NYU( where we were visiting). We easily walked to restaurants and shops. The room was small but clean & cool. Water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. I didn’t use the gym or eat at the hotel so I have no info on that. "

"This hotel is a hidden gem and will be my go-to NY accommodation from now on. The hospitality was gracious, consistent and accommodating from the moment I entered the door to my departure. The room was clean, cozy, well-stocked and quiet (i.e. my room door was less than 3 ft from the elevator door and I never heard it or any of my floor neighbors!). Located next to a very nice marketplace that sells great paninis and coffee. 10/10 experience. "

"I stayed at Arlo Soho in NYC Aug. 6-8. Their Hotels.com profile included free Wi-Fi and gym in the amenities. However, I was charged an additional “resort fee” of $34/day for Wi-Fi, gym, “bike access,” and two cans of water. Ripoff!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Although the room was smaller than it appeared on the pictures, it was very clean, with comfortable bed. The staff was super pleasant. The only negative would be the lack of privacy - we could hear the loud occupants across from us, and any noise from the corridor. My husband was not happy with the fact that there was no complimentary coffee/tea maker and fridge. The location for us was spot-on. "

"Great place to stay and always had hot coffee if you wanted a cup. They allowed me to have a late check out of 12 PM. They also held onto your bag so you can go and do some stuff for the day and come back and get your bags before heading out of the city. Worked out really good."

"Amazing location and great hotel."

"Oh, we loved it beautiful decorated the Security is amazing. Very very safe. Very impressed. The people the food the atmosphere the cleaning mess. It was just absolutely wonderful. Definitely will recommend it and I will stay there again."
