"Lovely spacious room. Food at breakfast was really good, we ate at the restaurant once and the food was really tasty. Nice friendly staff and great location for sightseeing Durham"

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. "Lovely place to stay, clean room although the carpets could do with a revamp. Staff were very helpful even though we arrived very late in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, very nice poached eggs."

"Good size bedroom, excellent breakfast, great staff"
