"I had the most incredible stay at visitHOMES in Leirvík. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The host, Lilja, is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, so welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience even more special. The accommodation itself is so cozy and beautifully kept, the perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring the Faroe Islands. Every detail felt intentional and comforting. Breakfast was such a highlight each morning, absolutely incredible. Lilja prepares everything herself using local ingredients and takes the time to explain what she’s made, which makes it feel so personal and special. Sitting in her kitchen enjoying a fresh, delicious breakfast was such a memorable and cozy experience. I also have to mention Simba, the adorable cat, such a sweet and calming presence. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a warm, authentic, and memorable stay in the Faroes, this is it."

"Fantastic hotel. The only hotel in the capital Torshavn that includes breakfast in the room price. The hotel is situated at the very heart of the city. Close to the harbour from where you can take ferries to many islands, even to Iceland. I appreciated the quietness of the hotel also. No traffic noise at all and very few cars passing the hotel although it is only ten minutes walking to the busy shopping streets. I had a room with seaview that was stunning to say the least. The bed also in my taste, that is not too soft. Bathroom clean and nice. Internet was very fast and reliable in the room. Topnotch! Cannot be better. Breakfast offered everything you expect. All in all I and my wife were very satisfied with our stay one week in this new hotel and can highly recommend it to everyone visiting these beautiful Faroe Islands in the middle of Northatlantic!"

"We had a nice stay at this property...The village is a dream and the hikes a block away are a bonus! Definitely the location is one of the best things. Dinners are the second best things...menu is limited but the food is absolutely delicious and well presented. The service at the restaurant is fantastic...it was truly a pleasure. The 4 stars are for the cleanliness...our room (Annex room) was not vacuumed during our stay. Since it's basically a hiking place your boots are always dirty even if you leave them at the door. Just something to improve. "
