"Do yourself a favor and stay here, you wont regret it! The location is incredible and the cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The sleeping loft area has typically low ceilings, but that just adds to its charm. The kitchen is well stocked and the property owner came by to chat and give recommendations on places to hike and eat. This was my favorite place in the Faroe Islands to stay. I hope to return again soon. "

"Location close to bus stop 13 made it very easy for tour pickups as well as easy walking distance to local buses and shopping. Everything we needed was there. Being able to store luggage before checkin and after checkout is a convenience not to be underestimated."

"The house was beautiful. We did have to drive for any dining options or grocery stores but it was worth it. The size of the house was nice, the views were amazing, the amenities and the bathroom were perfect. The only downside was that use of the hot tub was an extra $200 usd which seems like a lot for something that should be included with the house."

"Loved this property, especially the deck which we used quite a lot! We stayed here 7 days. Parking was 500 m away and included EV charging which we required as we had an EV rented. Easy to use and charging is free on the Faroe Islands!! Great central location for all our day trips. Fabulous kitchen for us to cook which we did most nights. "This is a very unique and beautiful stay. It is a steep walk down a few steps to the boathouse and is a little tight with luggage. The washer and dryer are below the boathouse and accessible through a trapdoor and down a small ladder- it's fun to go down to. For a solo traveler who is not finicky about spiders, it's a great cheap option and it honestly felt strangely like home by the end of my stay, but I would personally not climb up to the upstairs bunk. "This Torshawn house was perfect! It definitely made our visit to the Faroe Islands all worth it. From great parking, comfortable amenities, walkable locations to excellent restaurants, groceries, cafes, the best part was the view from our top bedroom window. On a bright day, one sees colorful houses and buildings on the hilly landscape, but on dark rainy nights with small lights of the city, one can only imagine the VanGogh's Starry Night."
