"Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. "Excellent small hotel with superb friendly and helpful staff, fantastic well maintained grounds and stunning view of Etna from the pool. Its clear they show pride in their hotel and this is reflected in everything about your stay. Would say a car is essential to het best of stay, although about 30 min walk to local train station which had good and regular connections to some of the local main tourist towns and airport. "
