"overall its not bad....definitely good for a family however there's a few things I would like to mention that could have an impact for others wanting to book same place.
1. It's not the holiday Inn, its two separate businesses using the same building...some floors have hotel rooms, some have appartment rooms...I haven't see the hotel rooms so I cannot comment on that however I can say it feels misleading when you head into the lobby and they have elevators that are much fancier yet they tell...

"I did not follow the pre-registration instruction. That was on me. But I found the place. It would help if they posted a picture of the door. There were so many! But the place is just front row to the river. Once in, the place is just restored with great taste. I got the smallest unit, no views, first floor. But it is well appointed. The room windows face the busy alley, with restaurants and foot traffic but you can shutter them for sleeping. Good insulation, good AC. The wifi was iffy, but it...

"Nice apartment in a quiet street but close enough to walk to the main areas. Bit of a squeeze for 5 adults but still plenty of plates and cutlery etc. Nice large hot tub for private use and the communal pool area was small but nice for some outside space.
Unfortunately a few maintenance issues which have clearly been ongoing for a while with nothing done about them. The main ones being the drip dripping electric hot water tank, towels had been placed underneath to catch the drips but these...

"Estuvimos 14 días hospedados. La habitación siempre estuvo limpia y lista. El staff siempre fue amable, atento y dispuesto a compartir su conocimiento del área, de restaurantes y de la ciudad, en especial Carlos en el front desk. El desayuno era excelente todos los días, con variedad para todos los gustos. Las empleadas del restaurante en el desayuno fueron muy atentas en todo momento. El Parkin es seguro y cómodo. Por nuestra grata experiencia recomiendo este hotel sin duda alguna."

"Wonderful experience. My 4 day 3 night stay exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not speak Portuguese but they had excellent command of English. The hotel is located in the perfect location near great restaurants, wonderful tourist attractions and perfect for local exploring. We were able to visit many attractions on our own (with the aid of Google maps) and enjoyed the freedom to do so. Very safe location and lots to do nearby. Loved it!!"
