The most charming “rock garden” is across the street as one walks down to the beach.

Room was perfect, better than we hoped for. Good size, clean, comfortable, great views. The bathroom was also a good size especially the shower. The only thing I'd recommend would be somewhere to hang towels as you dont always want to block your ocean view with a towel airing out on the balcony. Great location to the beach and town. Staff were great, housekeepers friendly. We forgot to leave a tip as checking out with a baby is busy but we planned to as we felt it was deserved.

Very pleasant and convenient hotel. In very good condition. Close to beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Half hour to SanDiego and closer to many beautiful sights. Encinitas is a hopping town.

Another great stay at this wonderful little motel that is soooo conveniently located in Encinitas. Steps from the beach you look at from your room, yet right by the main strip with all the great restaurants and shopping. Thanks for another great stay❣️

We will be staying at this motel again in the future. The location was excellent and the room met our needs and was very clean and comfortable. The property felt safe and it was wonderful that there was no smoking! You can walk all over Encinitas and the beach is just a block or two away.

“Hidden gem” and then some

You won’t find a better deal at a far-better-than-expected place in Encintas. Proximity to Moonlight Beach alone is reason enough. Walking distance to the main crossroads in town + the best restaurants, bars, local surf shops + a liquor store and number of great salons = yep, this is the place.
