"Great location! The hotel is attached with Pyramid mall. The room is spacious and fully equipped with all the amenity. It's easy to go to Sunway university through the mall and the overhead walkway. "

"We were given an upgrade to the club wing which meant we got a very spacious room with a seating lounge area. The Italian restaurant offered very good service and some lovely food. The breakfast buffet in the Charcoal hotel was okay but not impressive. We experienced a facial in the spa which was well done and very relaxing. "Great for a 1 night stay. Lots of good options closeby for food. Internet was good also. Breakfast is very simple - eggs we super soft runny and served no other way even when we mentioned we could not eat half raw eggs. No coffee available only weak tea. Toast with butter and kaya jam. Bed was comfy and nice hot shower. Cold filter water dispensers to fill bottles was great too."

"Definitely for no-fuss traveler. The staff were wonderful!"

"We were nicely surprised that the place is much nicer than expected. It's small but liveable & the AC was so cold! Nice! Easy check in & check out. The kitchen had all necessary cutlery, etc, including dishwashing liquid & hand soap. Very much appreciated as not all places have them! Location good - very near to many places to eat. Would stay again given a chance. "

"GG hotel is good. They just really need to better their communication style( heavy on this)and maintenance as well. They also need to provide mini Fridges at least for food storage and maybe up the price a bit or even some cutlery and tea//coffee mugs for morning use."

"The room I got wasn't as new as the listing images which is to be expected. However, there was a huge patch of black mold on the ceiling. Additionally there was a cockroach in my room... The staff was hospitable and helping but not fluent in English or Chinese unfortunately."
