"I liked everything about the Lodge, friendly staff, excellent service. The hot tub was excellent too. It is nice and quiet here too. I will definitely rebook in the future."
"The hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV.
The grounds are always well kept.
The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...
"Was exactly what I needed, a place to stay for one night. Wasn't expecting ‘private bathroom’ to just be a sink in the room and a shared toilet but it was fine for one night."

"A truely lovely pitstop. I was made to feel really welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Only slight downside was there was no phone signal and the wifi was sketchy, but absolutely perfect to get away from it all. Located in a beautiful area for walking/running/cycling"
