The casita was better than expected. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. In the heat, good ac was also a plus although an afternoon breeze always came in to cool things down. Sara at the restaurant was wonderful and Cesar and Jacky assisted us with our questions and a wonderful tour we took.

We had the most beautiful view from our room. I loved that every space was an individual cottage, so there was no “hotel” noise from other guests. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Beautiful beach with black sand. Perfect for swimming. Our villa was right on the beach gorgeous view of the sunsets every evening. Loved the wildlife around the hotel. The villa was spotless and very comfortable for our family of 6. The kitchen was fully stocked, had everything we needed. Would love to come again,

The stay overall was fine. The unit we stayed in doesn’t have parking and we were asked to park up the street. It’s a very steep hill even for those of us that are in good physical shape. The view from the unit was beautiful but the neighboring property has the pool right outside our unit so it was noisy. I probably won’t make that my 1st choice on my next visit.

Beautiful view and very nice accommodations, a bit remote and quiet if you have kids, it’s difficult to get around the hilly resort if you are high up. Will need a car or golf cart. Front desk was not very helpful when trying to book activities. Main restaurant is delicious, pool and beach area are very nice - we had it almost all to ourselves (late April)

Well stocked, strong air conditioning but Hot water turns off occasionally. Try to check before front office leaves. Tupperware, Saran Wrap, Tinfoil would have been handy. Laundry soap not supplied. Lots of steep uphill walking. Some outside furniture getting old. Sunsets behind hill around 5:30pm. Comfy beds, nice view.

When we arrived to the resort around 4pm af the office had already closed and we were given a packet by the security guard who spoke very little English. We were hoping to speak to someone when we arrived to confirm all of our excursions for the next day. We also rented a golf cart and it was supposed to be there when we arrived and it was not. We also walked into our condo and the ac was broke. Due to the office being closed we had no way of contacting someone so we had to go down to the restaurant for them to contact someone for us. They did end up sending someone out but our condo never cooled down until the next day. The condo was very dated and our beds were hard as a rock. The resort itself is beautiful and the private beach is very nice. The on site restaurant was our favorite, the food was delicious but it always took forever to get our food even if we were the only ones there eating. The resort location is nice but it’s about 21 min to town and the area you have to drive through to get to town is very sketchy!!! We were also not impressed with the town. If we ever come back to Coasta Rica we will definitely stay in a different town!!

Loved the semi private beach. The staff at the restaurant was always kind and helpful. Everything was clean and well kept. Pools were beautiful. Villas was super clean and very comfortable to stay in. Thanks for a great experience.
