"The main floor was fine, but the room smelled like mold, and there was mold on the cupboards in the bathroom, which was gross, so we had to keep the windows open all night. I know it’s an old building, but the sanitary conditions weren't good enough for a stay."

"The listing does not reflect reality. There are no cleaning supplies, no dish towels, soap, shampoo, etc. it was very dusty with dirty light switches and dust bunnies all over the floor. The oven heats the knobs. The blow dryer is melted and smells like burned hair. The chairs are covered in dirt stains. Walls are covered in stains. Toilet in main bathroom did not flush half time. The tab in the kitchen sink flew off when turned on the first time. No coffee maker. It was very disappointing...

"The property and staff were great. The rooftop bar and pool was excellent. The breakfast goes above and beyond the normal hotel breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to most attractions.
The only issue I had was the floor in my room. It was pretty filthy and looked as though it hadn't been mopped in quite awhile. Everything else though was clean."

"This was the first stop on our honeymoon and we had such a great experience. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and our room was ready for us. We had a gorgeous room with balcony and a view of the sagrada familia. They even brought us a chilled bottle of champagne and some chocolates.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, a short walk to the Gaudi houses and a 15-20 minute walk to other Barcelona attractions. We loved it!
The room was clean, had great AC, and was very comfortable. Breakfast...

"The hotel was nice but there were a few things that we didn't care for or would highlight otherwise it was good.
Pro's:
-Nice room. Spacious, clean, quiet and our room had a balcony (where we could sit) because it was located at the back of the building (not facing the street). We really liked our room. Pictures of the rooms appear accurate (for our stay anyway)
-The hotel in general was pleasant, clean and quiet.
-The location was good. Walking distance to metro (5 minutes), Gothic Quarter (5...
