"Beautfiul setting, really large and delicious breakfast and dinner buffet, lovely modern clean room. Staff was overall helpful but some were a bit reserved. Lovely walk/hike just out the door. Very extensive children's area, not sure it is open every day but I assume on weekends, holidays, etc Great for our grandchildren. Wife and daughter used the spa at the partner hotel next door and thought it was amazing. "

Not only it is 8-minutes away from the Old City Jerusalem to Damascus Gate and New Gate but it offers an experience of living like a locals in a great clean suburban neighborhood. No frills but it has the necessity of having a kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, kitchen sink , counter top stove, dining area, two twin beds, private bathroom and shower and A/C. "I did the booking for a room but when I arrived I noticed I was in a shared room with black curtains, so not good a privacy. Power electricity to charge phone depends on how long you keep turned on your own lamp. I had bad roommates who decided to turn off the lights for all the room and the air conditioning temperature. Roommates kept windows open even when it was freezing and let mosquitos enter to the whole room.. so I couldn't sleep some nights because of mosquitos. You have to deal with...

"This hotel is so comfortable to stay in when you are in downtown Jerusalem. It is opposite the central bus station & light rail. You can travel quickly to the Old City or to Mt Herzl The front desk staff are so helpful. I loved that Maria looked after me so well during the week I stayed there …..nothing was too much trouble for Maria to help me with …the breakfast manager & team are so helpful too …food is good "
