"I’ve been all over the world I’ve stayed in Airbnb‘s hotels and locals homes but never in a hostel I think this is the Rolls-Royce of hostels. "We are older and we arrived early as we were tired. Lovely staff allowed us in to the room they sorted for us. It was at the end of a corridor so was really quiet. Best three nights sleep we have had in any hotel! Breakfast was amazing. We loved our stay!"

"Very nice older hotel. Since it is older you do have to walk up stairs to get to the reception. There is a lift from there to the rooms. Our room view was great and we could see the Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle from our room."

"I and my wife stayed over Christmas 2018 for 3 nights. All is fine. Just too small bed. Housekeeping service always forgot to put such things as Water, Shower Gel, Shampoo into the room. Breakfast is a kind of Continental one which are just bread and cold cuts. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Hotel and Room Condition is good. Location is perfect. "

"We were struggling with jet lag when arriving and the Native was perfect to unwind and get some good sleep while being close walking distance to restaurants, pubs and Princes St corridor. "This was my second stay in a hamilton by hilton. I was travelling with my 2 adult sons and had booked a family room. "The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. I did not notice any soundproofing inside the hotel either (ie, hallway noise and noise from the floor above). The restaurant is lovely, great breakfast and nice bar upstairs. Outstanding location!"
