The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. "The Black Friars has been our best hotel experience so far in our 2 week vacation in Scotland. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rainshower bathroom feature. One can hear some noise from the hallway & a room above. Not a deal breaker. There is no elevator. The onsite restaurant has a nice selection of entrees, very good tasting food and is reasonably priced.My traveling companion has high praise for the braised short ribs and their truffle fries with Parmesan cheese! ...

"Dionard Guest House was in a quiet residential area surrounded by other B&Bs and private homes. Each room had its own unique decor. Our room was large, yet cozy, and very clean. The walk to town was lovely and only about 10 minutes. I hope I have the opportunity to return to Inverness and stay here again."
