"This was one of the nicest B and B's we stayed at in our month-long trip to the UK. We met the owner and she was very nice and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful and had everything you could ever want including snacks and cold water in a small refridge. It was walkable to downtown and the parking was safe and on-site. "Spotless room, comfy bed, fabulous shower. Room was well stocked with tea & coffee and lovely fluffy towels for the bathroom. "My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend. "

"I had an entire apartment right on the river Ness the view was beautiful and the location was walkable to several dining and shopping options and the Train and bus stations. My check in was contact less but the property was in beautiful condition including a very generous welcome basket and a lovely coffee and tea selection. This stay was amazing "

"The room and hotel state were first class. The only issue we had was the temperature of the room. As the windows appear to be single lair glass and the very cold gale of wind was heading into the window it was hard to heat the room. This was our only problem"

"The Black Friars has been our best hotel experience so far in our 2 week vacation in Scotland. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rainshower bathroom feature. One can hear some noise from the hallway & a room above. Not a deal breaker. There is no elevator. The onsite restaurant has a nice selection of entrees, very good tasting food and is reasonably priced.My traveling companion has high praise for the braised short ribs and their truffle fries with Parmesan cheese! ...
