"There is only 1 resturant on the property which is a steakhouse. There is one carry out bar food cafe, both open until 10 PM. There are really no options in the surrounding area outside the hotel for dining either. The room temperature is controlled by a “centralized location” and you cannot control temperature in room. The room was freezing. The unhospitality group at the front desk seemed bothered by guests checking in or with questions. There was one employee at the center bar in the casino at 5:00pm and was waiting on the seated customers and the non ending walk up line. My stay was 3 days prior to the Kentucky Derby, It was becoming very busy. I’m glad I only chose a 1 night stay at this property. Being a casino, I’m sure they do a lot of comp rooms for gamblers. They definitely give off a feeling of be thankful your here, not we are so thankful you are here. "

"Great place to stay. We stayed here for a night so we can go visit the Museum of the Mighty Eight Air Force. The walls are thin and we happened to be next to people who kept slamming their doors. Will stay here again "

"Ginger at the front desk was great upon arrival! She was so welcoming and helpful! We were pleasantly surprised by the Derby weekend festivities at the hotel and took advantage of the “shuttle master John” that took us straight to the shuttle stop at the Expo center! All the staff were SO great and accommodating! I would recommend to anyone traveling in the Louisville area!!!"

"Came for Derby and paid a very high price for this place, ($600/night!) Way overpriced for the quality of hotel. If you want to sleep in the middle of a freeway and listen to it all night, this is your place. Also, the in room amenities are non-existent. There is a little coffee maker but they give you paper cups and only one pre-filled coffee filter per day! We will not be coming back."

"I would not return to this property again. ( Debry week) room 242 and 247 1. Water bugs in my room 2. Shower water did not get hot 3. Paint coming off the wall 4. No trash pick up from 5. No ice bucket in room 5. No 24 hour customer service desk assistant 6. The hotel staff came to our room 25 minutes before checkout asking us( are you leaving) 7. Rooms sell like smoke 8. People hanging around property in the back and front. 9. The price was good. "
