When I called the property they said that $600 security deposit was needed and that it had to be paid by PayPal. I don’t have PayPal and was therefore not about to check in, and had to find other arrangements at the last minute. I’m never booking through Expedia again."

"Cons: Hotel allows pets. Room had cat/dog hair all over the floor and on an upholstered chair. Ended up with hair on my clothes. Immediately had problems with allergies. Hotel in a very active and loud neighborhood. The windows do not stop the sound. The neighborhood was noisy until about 4 am (Fri, Sat). The hotel does provide ear plugs which are necessary. "Great location near Grand Central with easy access to transportation and major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet for Midtown Manhattan. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting NYC."

"They charge a resort fee that was never disclosed. What’s surprising is that there isn’t actually a resort on the property, just an old gym. They also charge guests to store their luggage on the day of departure, which is something I’ve never encountered before. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful."

"I have to say the location is perfect close to transportations near famous buildings walking distance to shopping stores nice staff but I wasn't thrilled about my room. First I notice the faucet in the bathroom no cold water was coming out regardless on turning the knob in different direction it was hot water. Second, there is no insulation in the room I could hear the next guest to me all the conversations and whatever he is shuffling around in his room. I like my peace and quiet."

Tiny closet, no dresser or drawers. If you just want to sleep there, it’s fine. I’d stay again if the price was reasonable"
