"Prima kamer. Genoeg handdoeken ed, uitstekende douche. Alleen waren de bedden erg slap en wiebelig. Wel goed geslapen. In de kamer was het erg warm, er was geen airco. Alleen een ventilator. De ramen konden een klein beetje open."

"Had a very comfortable 2 night stay. The room was spacious and clean with a great en-suite. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner plentiful and very tasty. Parking was easy on site. Highly recommend."

"Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse ."

"We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!"

"We were surprised to be told that the kitchen was closed that evening due to an illness of the chef when our dinner reservation was accepted that afternoon by the receptionist. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bar, but the white wine was undrinkable. The continental breakfast was of a poor standard."

"A convenience hotel and no more. For us it just happened to be very near a wedding we were attending hence staying there and we paid £185 for a premium room for one night as we like our creature comforts including a decent size bed and mattress for a decent nights sleep. Sadly it didn't happen in our room 124. The bed was tiny, as the relatively nice staff readily agreed, telegraphing our complaint was one of many, many dissatisfied guests. All unnecessary as the room was easily big enough...

"Great as always… Lovely staff, easy parking and check in. Restaurants within walking area but their restaurant/bar is perfect… 30second walk from the hotel. Quiet and safe as you have to tap the card twice at the front and then room. I really like this hotel and will be staying many more times over the summer. Thank you"

"I cannot say enough good things about this visit. We were exhausted from our trip and they just were amazing and made us feel great. This place was so rejuvenating and I didn’t even get a chance to try their spa. Their attention to every little detail was awesome. I strongly urge anyone going to Ipswich to stay at this hotel. "Room carpet was dirty. Bathroom smelled like pee and it looked gross, too, plus door knobs were degraded. There was no DND sign for the door. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care."

"The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the town. It is in an old building so has charm and historic interest. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms and common areas clean amd well maintained."
