"This is our second stay at the Talbot, first was late summer 2024. Atm, the pub part of the hotel is closed and meals were not offered. Local gossip said the hotel was being used for asylum/immigrants, I saw no evidence of this and the clients seemed to be mostly couples and businesses. Dad and I stayed in a twin room, it had a large shower, no bath, desk, tv (not in hotel mode so streaming stick was easy to use), slightly larger than sister’s double. The property was easy to use, car park on site, clean and beautiful decor - modern and fresh. The bed was so comfy and bedding was excellent quality.
