"Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. "Small, quiet and clean hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but we haven’t been given rooms close to each other and we have been asked to pay extra £100 to get closer room. Breakfast time is very short 08:30 to 09:30 in my opinion just to save money and not paying for a chef. We have asked for ice cubes for our drinks but our request has been rejected. Check out time is so early at 10:00 am again just for the owner to save money and not paying for the staff. "

"Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful). "It was a business stay: The hotel was very nice and would definitely recommend it. It was very handy for getting to the bridge too, only 15 minutes."

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."
