"There was no internet in the entire hotel & no idea when it was going to be repaired. The rooms do not have safes. No washcloths either. Bathroom needs some deeper cleaning but nice shower."

"Our room was cold, we were woken during night by the cold. We could not adjust the Aircon to make the room warmer, very disappointing. Asked to leave dining room at 10pm and take our coffees through to reception area, a little early. A little disappointing."

The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again"

"Room was cold so we put on the a/c. It blew cold air continually. We thought it would eventually blow warm air. At 3am my husband was so cold we decided to leave for home. The checkout lady told us we should have gone to her as it’s controlled at reception. Would have been good to know this."

"Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling."

We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again.
