It was a wonderful night spent at Super8! Very clean and spacious room and shower/toilet, such helpful staff too, even in the middle of the night! My cot was set up in the room before we arrived and my infant went straight to bed, they were kind enough to give us extra beddings too. I would honestly go back again, it was an excellent stay.

Staff where all so pleasant and helpful, rooms where extremely clean, only gripe i had was the banging of doors and running the shouting in the carroridor especially on the Friday night but again thats part of the hotel business, if i return again it will be with earplugs lol. Overall i was extremely happy with the hitel in general.

Easy to check in, staff were welcoming, friendly and super-helpful; resetting the air conditioning to heat the room and recommending closest parking in Durham centre for the restuarant I was going to. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything I needed for an overnight stay at a very reasonable price.

Nice clean accommodation. Very friendly staff. Had pizza one evening which was hot and tasty . Only complaint was that we were staying 2 nights and our room wasnt serviced . The reception team apologised and replenished our tea, coffee and took our rubbish. Sadly we woukd have liked replacement towels as ours on shower floor. Not sure wgat had happened there . Still a good comfortable stay

Cannot fault our stay at super 8. Rooms clean with everything you would need for a short stay. Beds comfortable with lots of space. Breakfast and bar well stocked. Will stay again, as excellent base when visiting family in the area with great amenities around as well

Room was in good condition, water pressure was fine. Car park was large and next to a service station, a Costa and a McDonalds. The hotel was part of services for the A1(M) road, so it was quick and easy to continue our journey in the morning. It was a short drive into Durham for sight-seeing.

Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city.

Good location and clean hotel

Great free parking. You just give your car registration when you check in. Good size room. I stayed in a twin accessible room for my mums benefit. We ate breakfast one morning which had sufficient continental choice and had a pizza one evening too which was very tasty. I stayed here to go to Beamish and Durham.
