Great locationIt was a good relaxed and quite stay. Host is welcoming and very helpful. I certainly will be booking for my next stay in the city. I can’t rate excellent, as there is always a room for improvement. I recommend Mackaya Guest Hiuse!

We know Durban well, have stayed here before and will do so again. We give top ratings in every department but outsiders should know that you must have a car because it is in a residential area with no shops or restaurants close by. The owners are on site and super friendly and energetic. Breakfast is great.

Friendly and cozy place to stay.

Had a lovely stay in very comfy bed in nice clean room. Hosts extremely friendly and made us delicious breakfast sandwiches to take away as we didn’t want to eat early. Highly recommend for anyone staying overnight in Durban.

Best place to stay in Durban

Room was spacious with modern amenities. The breakfast included with the luxury room was delicious and filling! Service is accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Area is quiet and I felt safe. Easy to get an Uber to wherever. They can also arrange for a car service, which was great too.
