"We loved our one night stay. The place is located in a bucolic area. The apartment itself is sparkingly clean, spacious, and well designed. The hosts are helpful and courteous. There is a nice restaurant close by and a grocery store too. The airport is a ten minute drive. And the hosts will drop you or pick you up. Wholeheartedly, recommend this place."

"The property was very close to the airport, but there were no restaurants nearby. I had to walk to a small grocery to get food and toiletries (there was no shampoo or soap). The towels too were worn and old. The price was a bit too high for me, all things considered."

"I stayed here with my 4 children and it was excellent in every way! Anka was a wonderful host - we were greeted with Croatian cake and liqueur and my children were invited to pick oranges from the trees in the garden. Comfy beds & it was very handy having proper beds for all 5 of us. Washing machine in one of the bathrooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. Children loved them cat and other animals nearby. Great location, very quiet but not far to walk down to the harbour and the beautiful...

"The hotel is located in a small almost deserted village 15 mins away from Dubrovnik. There is nothing there except the hotel and one small mini-mart. You can take a bus to town. The room was spacious and nice. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the next room. The breakfast was very basic. One staff member was rude but the other was very nice. We stayed out exploring as long as we could. I would say this is a basic hotel, nothing fancy, isolated, but within 15 min bus ride to Dubrovnik."

"The view is stunning and access to the beach is great. Hotel is a bit dated but generally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but the bar wasn't open late (it was slightly out of season but...) and it didn't seem possible to get a bottle of wine or something from reception. It would have been lovely to sit out on the terrace later after dinner with a bottle of wine. If you don't like steps don't come here, there are no lifts and lots of steps. The view is fantastic though. "

"What a lovely apartment, lovely hosts and an optimal location. It is easy to walk to Cavtat, take a bus to Dubrovnik or drive to Split, Mostar or Montenegro. The hosts are extremely accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Croatia."

"The owners are great people and very helpful and pleasant. They genuinely want to help and provide the best service. They offered to drive us to the airport if the uber didn’t show at 5am, that’s above and beyond! It is a little bit of an uphill hike from the city below but it’s worth the peace and quiet. They should maybe rent e-bikes for the little journey, just a thought. I would stay here again."

"We could not have chosen a better place to stay! Hotel Sumratin is beautiful. The room was clean, spacious and modern as this hotel was opened just a few months ago. The location cannot be beat - right on the Lapad promenade close to restaurants, bars, stores and the beach. Every person on staff that we met were lovely - always greeting with a smile and so helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent - great variety. "We stayed for one night due it’s close proximity to the airport, Dubrovnik, Cavtat- w/ plenty of things to do the day before our departure. The property itself is in an amazing spot, with private beaches & large pool overlooking in the ocean- although being May & a cloudy day the pool was too cold for us. The staff was great, rooms were clean, & free breakfast was good. Travelers need to remember they’re not paying or staying in a five-star hotel, and this was far above par for the course....
