Loved my stay! Some locals say this area is a bit dodgy however, didn’t feel really comfortable walking to it at night since it’s a little isolated. But very lovely staff and clean facilities would bring me back!
Very nice affordable stay option in Dublin! Location is pretty good, around 10-20 minutes walk for every major attraction. The kitchen and living area is also very nice! Only thing is the beds are kinda small and short but they were still comfy :) Also kind of a quiet hostel but if you like that it’s perfect.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff was not super friendly or welcomjng. Ilder ajd a bit rundown. Breakfast was super basic. Good location tho. Good for a short stay.
This hostel is quite centrally located and relatively easy to find (although the directions I was sent were not all that easy to understand, this would not be a problem for anyone with a cell phone and data to access Google maps). The wifi worked well. The breakfast room on the top floor provides lovely views and even an outdoor patio. The breakfast was entirely satisfactory although I'm no fan of instant coffee and that's all that's available. There's an elevator too, a real bonus!
Great location in a real neighborhood with a few high streets close by. Staff were super friendly. Clean facilities. We had a private room with shared bathroom and didn’t have any issues getting into shower etc. Lovely kitchen and lounge area with a great view.
Only downsides were street noise in the morning from street cleaning and garage door opening and closing, which was quite noticeable even though we were up a couple floors and off to the side. And we had a bunk bed with one super comfy mattress and another that you could feel the metal springs; we asked for an extra duvet as a topper and it was fine, but a new mattress needed.
This was a great place if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay. The surrounding area is very quaint and an awesome place to walk around. I felt safe as a female solo traveler. Public transportation is close by and the front desk was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Clean, accessible, friendly. I enjoy having 24 hour access to the kitchen and common areas. Roomy, comfy beds and convenient storage in the rooms. Fast elevator.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in our private room! It was exceptionally clean with towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, water, and tea/coffee in the room. We had plenty of space and the staff was incredibly kind. There were plenty of clean bathrooms so we never had to wait in lines despite being shared. We only stayed one night, but would have stayed more if we were in town longer!
Fair location and a comfortable bed. Bit of a wait for bathrooms but the facilities were fine. Two plugs at the beds was good but could do with a basket or shelf to organise what was being charged, put glasses in etc.

Liked: Staff & service
The rooms were fine, but they have not enough bathrooms per floor, I often needed to wait or search for another one on the other floors. The kitchen/seating areas would be fine in general, but too small for the amount of people, so it felt stressful finding a place to sit or eat. But the laundry facilities are good and clean and the price is fair.

We booked a private room but had no electricity for 2/3 of our stay. It was only the two private rooms on our floor that didn’t had electricity and while the stuff was nice, no one felt responsible for this. We had to email the management and wanted to get a partial refund but still haven’t received an answer. The location was central and rooms okay but not really helping having a private room when you’re always have to go out of the room and find an outlet with power to charge.

2 tiny shared bathrooms, 1 large handicap bathroom for 16 people. Storage cage under the bed was small and inconvenient.
Building location was adequate, you had to walk about 20ish minutes to the city center for all the restaurants, attractions, shopping.
Overall, was a little cramped and disliked the bathroom situation but would stay again. They did pretty well with their facility cleanliness.
The hostel was clean and the bed was so comfortable ( better than most places I have stayed). There was only 3 washrooms with showers on each floor for many ppl, so a bit of wait. The hostel seem like more a long term stay, so there were no activities, the staff were nice but didn't help with recommendations in area. The common area was small and limit seatings so not inviting. Couple of recommendations: add more chairs in rooms as you can't sit on lower bunk ( to short), a shelf in the bathroom would be helpful ( instead of having to put your stuff on the toliet or floor). Above, I like location ( cool neighborhood), its on the outside of "tourist area" which had cool bars, supermarket, and walkable to pretty much everywhere. If you like quiet, and a nice place to sleep, this is the place for you.
The proximity of the property to downtown Dublin is unbeatable. Being located between the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar made walking a breeze. The parking was extremely secure and I felt comfortable leaving my rental car. My only issue was exiting the locked car park early in the morning. I was given a number to call if I left before 10am to open the gate. They were helpful, but it still took ~20 minutes before I could get out of the car park.
I arrived to the hostel early afternoon. Check-in was an easy process and the receptionist was very friendly and offered a few recommendations on things to see in the area. Upon entering the elevator, there was a posted list of things to do. My accommodations were just as described. I was assigned the bottom bunk as requested due to my mobility issues. I went back downstairs to purchase a lock for the under bed safe. I later gave myself a tour to the 3rd floor where I found a lounging area, washers and dryers, a full kitchen with freezer, refrigerators, two stoves, and ovens, televisions, and a small patio outside. Most of the guests I encountered were friendly, lively, approachable, and engaging from all over the world. Many of them addressed each other by name and seemed to be friends. I was given suggestions on where to go to pick up food. I walked to nearby Lydl and Tesco and picked up snacks and food to prepare. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a complete meal from scratch. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The next morning, I went to the kitchen for a continental breakfast provided by the hostel. It was interesting to note that they have long-term guests that call this hostel their home. The hostel was safe and clean. If I'm ever in Dublin again, this will be my go to spot.
