Subject: Invoice Issue and Follow-up – Stay at Dublin One Hotel (May 23–29, 2025)
Dear Dublin One Hotel Management,
We stayed at your hotel for 6 nights between May 23 and May 29, 2025, in two rooms with a total of four guests. On the day before our check-out, we informed the reception that we would need a receipt for our stay. The staff confirmed that this would be provided.
However, when we requested the receipt on the morning of May 29, we were told that it could only be issued under one person’s name per room, and that no second receipt could be provided for the other guest in the same room. We asked whether it was possible to:
Issue separate receipts for each guest staying in the room, or
Issue one receipt that includes both names.
Unfortunately, both options were refused. Moreover, the receipt that was issued was not signed, and when we asked for assistance or clarification, the staff showed no willingness to help.
This experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. We believe that issuing proper documentation for a paid hotel stay is a basic and reasonable request. We do not wish to stay at a hotel again where customer support is denied in this way, and we do not recommend your hotel to others based on this experience.
This morning (June 8, 2025), I contacted your hotel again and once more requested that separate, signed invoices be issued in the names of each guest.
We kindly request your cooperation in issuing the necessary invoices as soon as possib
