"The room was well appointed and had everything needed for a multi-night stay. It is above a bar so some nights, the music is heard thru the walls. If you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. But it is close to many attractions and of course, Temple Bar area. There is plenty of security on the streets so felt safe walking around. Great staff and easy/fast check-in/out. "

"The Mercantile is a recently renovated property, so everything is fresh and new. Rooms are a tad tight, but my understanding is that is to be expected. There isn’t much of a desk, and someone made a poor decision to glue their in-room phone right in the center of the little desk area there is. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are a little tough. Rooms were soundproofed so you don’t hear much outside, and they have great climate control/ air conditioning. Breakfast service could use a bit of...

"First time in Dublin and this place was amazing! 20 mins from the centre with easy access routes. Room was brilliant. Main mention goes to the staff - reception team are welcoming and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and everyone is always ready to make sure you are happy.
