"We stayed at the Montigo Resort hotel as we were going to the Rock and Ribs festival. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes away from the festival by car. The hotel itself has a nice setting and does have a nice relaxed feel. Our room was fine and the bed comfortable. We did feel the room looked a little tired, especially the bathroom. The bath felt like you were going to fall through it and the shower was in the slope of the roof so you couldn’t stand up in it properly. Other than that it was a nice...

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"Last minute booking at the george lovely hotel with fab breakfast in a gorgeous village. We had the cheapest twin room but hadn’t realised the bathroom was accross the hall from the room when booking. It was okay as we were only their a night. Breakfast was good also would recommend just don’t book that room ."

"Absolutely fantastic stay here! From the moment we checked in we felt at home and comfortable in the beautiful property. Jan and his colleagues were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic throughout. Room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Food was exceptional, can’t speak highly enough about the evening meal we had it was absolutely delicious and breakfast in the morning was tasty too, super fresh pastries! "Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima voor een overnachting. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn de matrassen vernieuwd. Dat wat wel nodig. De keuken was niet open zodat we naar een ander restaurant moesten uitwijken. Het groene licht was s’nachts irritant. Ontbijt was eenvoudig en goed."

"We stayed for 4 nights in this historic inn which is very centrally located in Wells; just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. It has a nice pub and the food was good including the breakfast (which was not included in our package). The staff were friendly and helpful. A fan was provided as it was an unusually warm week. Our room, and the courtyard leading to it, could use an update."

"The staff were amazing- really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy enough with plenty of pillows. The shower was not so good, with very low water pressure, so it barely dribbled out. There was shower gel and shampoo and conditioner provided, which was useful (even if washing it off was not straightforward!) I hadn’t anticipated getting breakfast, so the basket of fruit, brekkie bars, bagel and pain au chocolat was a real bonus."

"The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!"
