"This hotel is old, run-down, and has numerous issues. It looks nothing like the photos online. Our hearts sank the moment we arrived and saw the filthy entrance: cigarette butts overflowing from a broken outdoor ashtray, trash scattered across the ground, and stained, faded carpeting leading inside. Unfortunately, the problems only escalated from there. Many things in the room were broken, missing, or dirty. We made multiple complaints, and while one or two issues were addressed, most were not. The list of problems included: • Cigarette burns on the bed and walls • Stained walls • Ripped and stained carpeting • In-room phone not working (eventually fixed) • Bathroom sink drain clogged • Shower drain clogged, causing the entire bathroom to flood • Extremely poor sound insulation — you hear everything outside, especially traffic • Only one manual key per room • Missing or nonfunctional devices • A cracked electrical outlet in the desk that literally sparked when touched • Overflowing cigarette butts at the entrance • Faded and stained carpet in the lobby • Lounge advertised as open but was closed • Error message on the Sleep Number bed Overall, this property is in serious disrepair and does not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, or comfort. The few bright spots included a friendly staff, large rooms, an adequate breakfast, and although there were issues, the bathrooms were somewhat updated."
