"Overall the property has a lot of potential. The grounds were quite overgrown and unkempt, and the rooms while tidy, had poor finishing particularly with respect painting, where there was paint all over everything. The timber shutters on the terrace doors were broken, one set didn't close at the bottom. The wifi was very unstable through the property, and could not maintain a connection. "Absolutely amazing! Very quiet during late July, but the staff were so lovely. Food was great, pool, rooms everything just great.

"Everything about this place was 10/10! Food was delicious, customer service was top tier, and accommodations were clean. Everything down to the refreshing scents of the robes, no detail was missed. I had an over water villa with pool. The pool was clean and cleaned again during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend if staying in Zanzibar."

"Very pleasant stay. Room was cleaned twice a day and fulfilled our expectation. Very nice area and extremely service minded personnel. Food had a high quality with a wide variation of menues every day.
Be aware of the tide on that side of the island, some day you had to walk several hundred meters for having a bath. "

"Das White Paradise ist zwar nicht mehr brandneu, was man an einigen Stellen auch erkennen kann. Aber man ist bemüht, die Anlage in Ordnung und sauber zu halten. Die Angestellten sind durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Geschäftsleitung ist auch überaus präsent. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig, obwohl das Hotel komplett ausgebucht ist, bekommt man an keiner Stelle das Gefühl, es sei voll."

"If you want to enjoy beaches on the East coast of Zanzibar, which are clean and not overcrowded, Breezes in Dongwe is a good place to go.
For a half board and not an all inclusive hotel, Breezes is relatively expensive in comparison, because the room rates are high and you will pay every lunch and every drink extra. The food and the drinks are good but not as good as the room rate and the prices (to be paid in US Dollars) would suggest and it might not be the cook’s or the barman or barmaid’s...
