"We turned up at 10.30pm on a night to be told there wasn't a room ready even though we had a booking. The hotel was very noisy as there had been a party on. To be fair to the guy on reception, he offered us a free drink at the bar while he prepared our room himself. Not a great experience"

"Everything was just as described in the photos and description. The host was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the room clean, the shower fantastic. It's as close to the University of Warwick as you can get. Rideshare was no problem, bus was a few minutes of a walk away. We highly recommend."

"I spent a night at the Brandon Hall Hotel, travelling for business. Pulling up to the hotel, the grounds look nice and the bar/reception area looks inviting. The staff at the reception was lovely, really friendly and welcoming. However, the night was a disaster. "The breakfast was very poor. We got down for breakfast around 9am and there was nothing useful left to eat. We raised this with the staff and they confirmed, despite a cold breakfast offering, they ran out of pastries. Only 1 pot of yoghurt was left for a family of 3, handful of slices of bread, we had to request hot water for Tea (can’t be that cold of a breakfast!), the juice ran out and only 1 apple was left. "I had a lovely stay here. The location is great, being right by the station but within easy walking distance of the city. The hotel itself was immaculate and spacious, and my room (standard with king bed) was just the same. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with the same great service as elsewhere in the hotel. One of my favourite touches was the mini bottle of fresh milk for in-room tea/coffee. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Coventry."

"Lovely room and the decor of the hotel was great. Great location to the NEC and other attractions. Easy access to onsite parking. The staff were helpful and polite. Just some suggestions for improvement: the landline phone in my room was not working so I could not call reception. I ran out of hand wash in my toilet and despite asking several times it took 2 days before I was given hand wash. The safe in my room did not work, I reported this too but no one fixed it. "The Hotel was very central good for pool bank bus centre and the transport museum. Plenty of interesting places to eat nearby. We stayed for an early morning coach pick up. The room was large and comfortable. ."
